Mr. Daichi Ohana (Wakabayashi Lab M2) received the Nita Memorial Prize from the Graduate School of Science and Technology. The Nita Memorial Prize is awarded to graduate students for their outstanding research achievements and commemorates Prof. Isamu Nita, who has devoted to establishing the School of Science at Kwansei Gakuin University. The title of the award is “Theory of Topological Edge States in 2D SSH Models”.

The Nita Memorial Prize is awarded to graduate students whose outstanding research results are recognized through conference presentations and papers, in commemoration of Prof. Isamu Nita, the first dean of the Faculty of Science and the founder of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellowship Program and the Kwansei Gakuin University Doctoral Program Research Scholarship.
