Mr. Ren Habara (Wakabayashi Lab M1) received the Nita Memorial Prize from the Graduate School of Science and Technology. The Nita Memorial Prize is awarded to graduate students for their outstanding research achievements and commemorates Prof. Isamu Nita, who has devoted to establishing the School of Science at Kwansei Gakuin University. The title of the award is “Theory of Optical Spin Hall Effect in Monolayer NbSe2”.

The Nita Memorial Prize is awarded to graduate students whose outstanding research results are recognized through conference presentations and papers, in commemoration of Prof. Isamu Nita, the first dean of the Faculty of Science and the founder of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellowship Program and the Kwansei Gakuin University Doctoral Program Research Scholarship.
