Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) has announced 25 winners of the 13th JSPS PRIZE, and Prof. Katsunori Wakabayashi was selected as one of awardees in the field of Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Chemistry, and Engineering Sciences.
Prof. K. Wakabayashi was recognized for his marked work on “Theory of Nanoscale Effects on Electronic Properties of Graphene”. The award ceremony will be scheduled on February 8th, 2017, at the Japan Academy (Tokyo).
The prize was founded in FY 2004 to recognize and support young researchers, in the fields of the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences, with rich creativity and superlative research ability at an early stage in their careers.
